I first started training for triathlon in 2007. I loved the three sports on their own, and thought it would be nice if I could do them all in only one race! My family, who are always there to support me, have had a big influence on my sporting career.
I currently train in Lisbon, and during a typical training week I do 12 hours of swimming, 10 hours of cycling, and six hours of running. My personal best swim time over 1500 is 17:50, and run over 10km is 32:52. My favorite ITU race has been Hamburg, because of the big crowds…it’s a great race to watch, and would be even better if I got the chance to compete there! My triathlon goals are to get a good result at YOG, and to try to qualify for the Games in 2016.
